Premier League Brighton vs West Ham
After the impressive 3-2 victory at home against Manchester United the hopes were high among The Seagulls fans, and that they would be able to avoid a battle of the Premier League descent this season.
Unfortunately, things did not progress as positively as they expected.
They followed this excellent performance with a solid showing at Anfield, despite having suffered a 1-0 defeat.
A much weaker performance has led them to leave the League Cup at home to Southampton before 2-2 draws against Fulham and Southampton in the championship.
Since then, they have lost, leaving them without a win since mid-August and are currently in 15th place in the league table.
Needless to say, The Seagulls faced a series of tough games during this period, but a series of six games without wins will impact their confidence.
Glenn Murray has been the only player to be featured in the front, and he hopes to rely on him for this match.
West Ham had a very difficult start to the new season but we have seen the team win all their seven points in the last three games.
The hammers beat Everton by (1-3) in the middle of September and continued successfully to draw with Chelsea in a scoreless game, then beat Macclesfield Town by (8-0) in the League Cup and Manchester United (3 -1) in the Premier League in front of their fans.
They will now be very motivated to bring about another win at American Express Community Stadium.
Things seemed to be in disarray in London only a few weeks ago. They had lost the first four Premier League games, and the investment they made was not producing the success they hoped for.
West Ham looks like a completely different team from just a month ago. Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson began to prove their worth, and Marko Arnautovic continues to be a nuisance to the defenders of the other teams.
This is very promising for West Ham, and they will try their chances against Brighton.
Javier Hernandez should be available again after recovering from a glandular fever, but Manuel Lanzini, Winston Reid and Andy Carroll have been injured for a long time, while Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez also remain out.

Although seagulls have lost four of their last six games in all competitions, I think their home has a bit of favoritism. Having said this, it is not unreasonable to bet on Brigthon’s victory.
