Denmark – France World Cup Picks

The World is about to finish a first crackling phase, which gave rise to more than one surprise. If in some groups the picture is already defined, some of the places for the knockout phase are still in the balance.

Group C is one of those that could still give life to a turnaround on the third day. If France is already qualified, Denmark and Australia compete for second place in the group, with the Nordics looking for at least one point against the cockerels.

The match between the two teams, which will take place at the Lužniki Stadium, is meaningful not only for the Danes, who are still looking for qualification, but also for the transalpine, who would be forced to miss a more tortuous route in the second phase.

Denmark

Eriksen and his companions can certainly be satisfied with what has been done so far. After the victory against Peru, in the opening race, the Danes managed to block Australia, thus maintaining the advantage obtained in the first day.

Now Denmark must complete the work, trying to wrest a point against France. It remains to be seen whether Hareide’s men will want to try to snatch a victory that would deliver the record in the group, or arrive at a sort of tacit agreement that would still introduce them to the knockout stages.

Probable Training

Schmeichel; Stryger, Christensen, Kjaer, Dalsgaard; Delaney, Schöne; Sisto, Eriksen, Braithwate; N. Jørgensen.

France

France has not so far ecstatic criticism, but has nevertheless won the two introductory races, proving to have the papers in order to be able to go far ahead. The group chosen by Deschamps seems in fact to have reached a certain maturity, despite the young age of many components and this comforts the transalpine technician.

In the last race the roosters will be called to show their awareness, trying to limit the effort and even the risks, in front of a Denmark that is instead called to give its best.
Probable Training

Lloris; Pavard, Varane, Umtiti, Hernandez; Pogba, Kanté; Mbappé, Griezmann, Matuidi; Giroud.

Prediction Denmark – France

The race between Denmark and France seems to be able to evoke the now infamous cookie that seems to have become a feature of the group stages of many competitions. Denmark is enough to draw a draw that would be welcome even to France, so a tacit agreement between the two teams is not to be excluded, with mutual satisfaction.
