Dortmund comeback in the cup?

Only the teams from Wehen, Unterhaching and Paderborn were offensively successful, defensively also one is among the top 3 of the 3rd league. Against Leipzig, Jeremy Toljan did not make a good figure here, with Marc Batra currently a skilled interior defender. Accordingly, there are currently important failures in the defense area, both on the right and on the left. Eric Durm and Lukasz Piszczek are currently injured, and Raphael Guerero is the same fate. André Schürrle and Marco Reus also lack two important alternatives on offensive positions. In addition, scorer Aubameyang is currently fighting with his form. The game against Frankfurt last weekend was already the second in the series, in which the Gabonese remained without a hit. Nevertheless, with ten goals from nine games, he is, of course, the biggest ace in Dortmund’s offensive sleeve. There are currently no games at the BVB, but the game against Frankfurt has been dominated by many battles from the outset. The pace of the match has been somewhat lost in recent weeks. Bitter for the morale: Against Frankfurt BVB gave a 2-0 lead from the hand, had in the end even luck, not as losers from the place to go. It was particularly vulnerable to the defense center, which was sub-ordinated with Subotic and Weigl, and which repeatedly revealed gaps. Rapid counter-attacks from the Frankfurt side, again especially on the right side, did not taste the BVB at all. In the game forward, they were mainly on the left side and Maximilian Philipp. The former Freiburger was beside Nuri Sahin among the best Dortmunders on the pitch.
